The M.A.P. is making the Bible Meaningful, Accessible & Practical! This is an awesome avenue for understanding God's Word in a whole new way.
The M.A.P. meets every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. beginning in the Main Student Center!
Here's a quick map of the M.A.P. (pardon the pun)...
9:30-9:35 a.m.
Opening prayer - Without inviting God to be a part of this teaching time, we are just wasting our breath!
9:35-9:45 a.m.
Scripture Reading - We encourage students to spend 10 minutes in the Word. Pick your own passage, review where we've been, just read it!
9:45-10:00 a.m.
Teaching Time - Pastor Andy crams a whole bunch of info into a very small window!
From 10:00-10:15 a.m. student are split into four groups (Jr. High guys, Jr. High girls, 9-10 graders & 11-12 graders) and are split between two classes. Scripture memory and what we like to call "Quick Sessions". In Scripture memory students are encouraged to memorize God's Word and come prepared to share their previously assigned verse with the group. "Quick Sessions" takes a quick look at a particular character, location, etc. in order for students to get the full picture of what is being taught!
From 10:15-10:30 a.m. those 4 groups switch classes so that everyone stays on the same page!
